Sat, 22 December 2007 Crock & Murph return from another long ass break fully loaded
(well, at least Murph is) and ready for another jaw-dropping Christmas
episode! This week we've got Crock's take on holiday flora, a socialist
Christmas interview and some well-known SUYM characters stroll through
our "Christmas Door" to pay us a holiday visit! We've also got old
standby's like Murph's Recap on 2007 Celebrity Poop as well as his
Lightning Round! Following SUYM tradition, we round out the episode with a reading of "Twas the night before Christmas" - with our own spin on it. Keep listening shortly after THAT for some truly amazing BONUS material; our Christmas present to you. Comments[0] |
Sun, 8 July 2007 Crock & Murph cover so many topics in this episode, the only word
that could possibly describe the experience was "Loose". Crock opens
with his love of the Pokemon video games, then quickly pisses Murphy
off by mentioning the studio's nonexistent air conditioning. We also
use our very own knowledge and powers of deduction to determine how the
dinosaurs figured out how to tell apart the girls from the guys. Later
in the show, you'll hear our assault on "Cirque de Soleil", Murphy's
white-paying job, another excerpt from his book - "Swing? HELL YEAH I
SWING!" as well as a very special plug for our newest series "The Story
of Arms Longstrom". Somewhere in here, we discussed the four triforces
of women's sexuality, though I'm not at all comfortable writing about
what was said. Not that it was all bad. I'm just sitting in the
sweltering, air condition-less studio that we babbled on and on about,
and I'm not, AT ALL, comfortable. Comments[0] |
Tue, 19 June 2007 This week, Crock & Murph begin the show discussing beefs. The
bullshit minute was never so inquisitive. They move quickly, from issue
to issue conquering villages and pillaging their spoils --- mostly from
interesting conversation. Murphy actually reads a passage from his
book; "Swing? HELL YEAH I SWING!" The eventually get around to talking
about the local devastating injury at the Pittsburgh Zoo, as well as
getting to their special "Sweeps Weeks" series of news stories. You'll
eventually get to learn of Murphy's undying love (and need for) free
samples of medicines. Actually, that's a rather hilarious part of this
show that I think everyone should have a listen. Its geniunely
hilarious! Furthermore, in an effort to conquer the podcasting world,
we see our heroes pull investigative journalism from New England-based
psychics to simple soda pop. Before putting their mics down, the
Lightning Round finds new ways to take Murphy to new heights, and this
is way before any of the drugs kick in! Stick with us, you're in good
hands this week on Crock & Murph in the Morning. Moreover, Crock
calls Murphy's limbs "Arm Thunder" and Murphy believes that Rollo is
filled to the brim with cheese! Comments[0] |
Sat, 26 May 2007 Alright. First let me tell you all what really happened. We recorded a show about two and a half weeks ago while I was knee deep in the midnight shift. After about two days of "putting it off" my lack of sleep helps me forget about the show I need to produce. Thusly, we've got a show hanging in limbo somewhere in the SUYM studio. I'm not sure what happened to it and I'm not sure where its going. I, however, do know where it will end up - posted up here as a "Lost Episode" sometime in the future. Will it be the near future? Will it be much further down the road? I don't god-damn know. What I do know is that I forgot about it, and it'll be a sweet treat for the ears if you heard it after the events discussed long have passed... Uhhhh... I guess that insinuates the "not so near" future. So there you have it. My thoughts expressed as an HTML page. The lost episode will come... Later...
ONWARD! During this week's episode Phillipano Pete visits us again with his new persona "The Phillipano Machiesmo" or however your spell it. He's a former wrestler put out to stud by the oppressive fist of wrestling entertainment corporations. He not only helps us with our Sweeps Weeks (yes weeks, there's more to come in the future - BUT ENOUGH ABOUT THE FUTURE!) he manages to do what I (Crock) haven't been able to do, outside of my lifestyle choices- sicken Murphy to the point of puking. How did he do it? Well, let me tell you, it wasn't pretty. In fact, it was quite disgusting and should probably be regulated. We also launch an attack on our competitor Clearchannel Radio - which we later learned has partial ownership in SUYM (OOPS!). Tune in and figure this mess out for yourselves. If Pete's tale won't sicken you, I'm sure one of the brothers' Fairshoe will. Comments[0] |
Thu, 26 April 2007 Peanut Butter Paul comes outa the woodwork to sit down with Crock &
Murph to inform the masses that if they want to "keep coppin' a feel of
everything good" then they need to vote for him again. The Matt Brewing
Company of New York was kind enough to send us a sample case of their
many beers, FREE OF COST! So, during this episode not only do you get
the most popular podcast in southwestern Pennsylvania, you get damn
good beer advice. Our "homebrewed" commercials step it up this week,
featuring Eric Epic speaking about guns and Corporal Eat's Weekly Beef
about TV Dinners.Comments[0] |
Thu, 19 April 2007 Our resident financial analyst, Monte Lowe, made his annual studio
appearance and is filled with useful and timely tax hints. He'll
astound you with his six tax secrets - advice that no taxman has ever
been able to give before. Murphy continues his revamp of the "Seven
Deadly Sins" this week, and throughout the show claims the government
has turned on him. The extra-special third segment is ripe with new
material and our "homebrewed" commercials have taken moved into a new
echelon of comedic genius. Yeah, we're tootin' our own damn horn here.Comments[0] |
Mon, 2 April 2007 Our first studio guest of the season returns for another go-round
during Crock & Murph's latest episode. Pistol Pete "The Phillipino
Filibuster" makes his second appearance and brings his own customs
along with him. Sit in as Crock picks his brain and Murphy picks his
(own) ass. The world of amputees enters the conversation quite
unexpectedly and Crock takes off a runs with it, while Murphy redesigns
the "Seven Deadly SIns". Pete's the overall uninformed difference maker
during the ackward silences, so you can bet it's an entertaining time
this week on Crock & Murph. Comments[0] |
